This chaise is manufactured using the sled base design. This configuration produces a much greater stability factor for balance and distribution of the weight applied to the lounge. Two "roll bent" cross braces on the backrest and the underside of the lounge bed are essential to keep the side rails from bending inward and absorbing the spring action of the lounges created by the user.
