After looking at a lot of chaise loungers for the pool and a lot of different prices, we decided on this product because it looked solid and we didnt want to spend a ton of money without knowing much about how the chairs wear. We've had them for a couple weeks now and they are definitely a good value. The are sturdy and well built. The big test will be how long they last as we were not able to find much info on how Acacia compares to other options. They seem like they will last awhile, and were a savvy buy. If not, they definitely werent the most expensive out there and we can use the experience for better quality /more expensive next time...

After one season of use, the wheels on these chaise lounges warp and split. Hayneedle.com advised me that I was past my warranty period and they could not assist. I was willing to purchase new wheels but were informed by the Customer Service Team that they weren't available. Sorry is all they could say! Well, for that reason alone, I'll never buy from Hayneedle.com or any of their many other web sites again. I certainly won't recommend them!

I was a mission to find chairs like this for our pool area this year. The problem was that many chairs of this style, whether they be wicker or wood were VERY pricey. More pricey than I wanted to go. These chairs arrived in the same week that I ordered them and I put them together myself (which is saying a lot!). We plan to give them a protective polyurethane coating, as I could see how these might get beaten down by the weather if left out day in/day out untreated and not covered by anything. But other than that, I'd say this is a great buy and hope to keep them for years to come.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I had shopped around for wooden chaise lounge chairs and Hayneedle had the best price! Actually I had ordered two when my computer kicked me out. I went back in to replace my order and actually received 4 chairs. When they arrived, I was going to return 2; however, loved them so much that I kept all 4!!!! Thanks Hayneedle!

These chaises look really nice and are comfortable to use however the tool sent with them to use for the assembly is substandard. You will need to use a decent Allen wrench to assemble the product which is then fairly easy. The other issue keeping the star level low is that when the chaises arrived they smelled terrible, like insecticide. We called Hayneedle to discuss what they knew of the finishes used on the product but they had no information to share with us. After a week outdoors the odor is now very faint. I would recommend but with the caveat of the odor of the finish.
