The chaise lounge decorates a nook above the stairs that is intended as my young daughter's hide-away where she can snuggle up with her favorite doll and read a book of fairy tales or Little Women. The rich burgundy brocade and Victorian fringes add to the world of make believe, fantasy, and once upon a time.

Made out of particle board, fabric is stapled on. When assambling side boad and head rest washers were to small for the holes. Had to go purchase bigger washers.

It was hard to judge the size in the picture, but I was very disappointed with the small size and the quality was very poor. I'm going to return it.

Difficult to find this type pf lounge ~ ANYWHERE. Happy that Hayneedle had several to choose from. Delivered in a reasonable timeframe; very well-packaged; easy-to-assemble.
The design, parchment color, tufting and fringe details are what makes it look so elegant.
However, it is very HARD and borders on being uncomfortable. Considering the price and convenience, we're happy to have found it at all.
